DALI-2 is the updated and improved version of the DALI lighting protocol (IEC 62386), which includes more features and more product types with a focus on product interoperability.  For years, DALI has been used as a standard for robust, scalable, reliable and flexible lighting systems.  For the first time, DALI-2 brings standardisation to system components such as sensors and other input devices, as well as application controllers.  This evolution of the DALI protocol will offer improved functionality and adoption of new technologies.
