Lux Live 2018 review

By Terry Haynes, Business Development Director

Lux Live 2018, our second show of the year following Building Tech Live at the NEC was a busy week for Bright Green Connect. The Bright Green Team – with members from Bright Green Connect and Bright Green Technology was deep in conversation all day, every day. We also welcomed senior management from Gooee and Stewart Langdown from Lux Award nominee Zen Controls for extended chats.

On our stand, we featured our own brand range of LED drivers along with products from our brand partners SELF, Boke and Ektor. For connected lighting, we demonstrated the recently developed Gooee Bluetooth Wireless Interface Module (WIM). This WIM enables an extensive range of Bright Green Connect LED drivers to integrate with the Gooee system.

The key message for us was the fast growth of connected and IoT enabled lighting. After a long period of development, this market and product ecosystem appears to be set for fast growth in 2019 with installations rolling out from Q1. Bright Green Connect is part of this revolution, working with new protocols and developing the next generation of power supplies and LED drivers. There is immediate demand for our WIM nodes and we have a extensive pipeline of products for this exciting market.

In recognition of our commitment and expertise Bright Green Connect was confirmed as a Gooee development partner during the LuxLive week.

For us, LuxLive meant a very busy two days, a stack of positive leads to follow up, a great deal of knowledge gained and a welcome opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues.
